Monoflange Valve

The monoflange valves are mostly used for Instrument Isolation, In Situ Calibration, Inline Process Isolation, Chemical Injection and Process Sampling.

These valves are basically designed to replace conventional multiple-valve installations which are currently in use for interface with pressure measuring systems in process control applications.

These valves allow you the best fit options without considering your pipeline position whether it is installed in horizontal or vertical position where the pressure or gauge transmitter can easily be attached on the front face of the valve or on the outer diameter of the body. It really gives you the luxury to good orientation and ease of reading.

The monoflange valves are available in a wide range of single, two and three valves combination, including block, double-block, block-and-bleed, and double-block-and-bleed and block-bleed-block options. Technical Specifications

Flange Valve is basically an OS & Y type valve which is available in stainless steel, carbon steel and duplex handle materials in addition of stainless steel. The valve can be Raised Face, Spiral or Ring Type Joint.

Beside this this valve is capable to bear the pressure from 275 psi to 6250 psi (from 19 bars to 431bars), where the temperature limit is maximum of 204C to 538c (400F to 1000F) while the minimum limit is -29C to -54C or -20F to -65F.

How to Maintenance and Service Monoflange Valves

If service or maintenance is required, first remove the locking pin and then unscrew the vent valve. Now check the bore of the valve body and ensure the metal joint seal is removed properly. Check the joint seal seat in the body, it should not be damaged. Make sure that valve B is fully retracted before fitting. Now, fit new joint seal and replace the valve. Tighten valve B Stainless steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, Hasteloy, 6Mo, 625 & 825 90lb f.ft Monel 80lb f.ft, Carbon steel 68lb f.ft, Titanium 57lb.f.ft. It is recommended that OS&Y valves are replaced at IPDE only.
